CHERRY LOU BEACH
(June 8, 1947 - December 30, 2014)



CHERRY LOU BEACH, 67 of Ona, W.Va., passed away, Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 8, 1947, in Cabell County, W.Va., the daughter of the late James "Snook" and Billie Cole Mallory Pinson. She was a retired hair stylist and salon owner for 35 years and a member of Barboursville Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. She was a member of the W.Va. Head Traumatic Brain Injury Association, a former member of the Pea Ridge Women's Club, a WSAZ Hometown Hero as well as a Who's Who among America's Hair Stylists. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband James Michael Beach in 2012 and one son Jeromy Beach. She is survived by her daughter Mallory Beach of Huntington, W.Va; sister Rheta Pinson Keefer of Ona, W.Va.; nephew Matt Keefer (Linda) of Barboursville, W.Va.; mother-in-law Margaret Beach; sister-in-law Becky Beach Poynter of Huntington, W.Va. A memorial service honoring Cherry's life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Barboursville Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Burnsworth, Rev. Bill Blankenship and Rev. Richard Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, W.Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Sentry Bank C/O Mallory Beach at 5604 Rt. 60 East, Barboursville, WV 25705. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary is caring for the family.
