Obituary

LOVELL COLLEEN COLLINS
(August 12, 1916 - December 22, 2014)



L. Colleen Collins of Culloden, W.Va. passed away, Monday, December 22, 2014 in Cabell Health Care Center, Culloden, W.Va.  She was born August 12, 1916 in Olive Hill, KY the daughter of the Mike and Arminta (Wilburn) Collins. She was a retired from Baldwin Piano Co. in Cincinnati, OH, a Christian Education Teacher, teaching at Bethany Children’s, School, Kingwood School in Barn Station, TN and Mountain State Mission in Culloden, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Thomas and Shirrell Bond. She is survived by two nieces, Betty Hughes and Jeanette Jones and one nephew, William Bond. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. with Pastor Ellis Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, W.Va. Viewing will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Special thanks to the staff of Cabell Health Care Center for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the L. Colleen Collins Memorial Fund.
