DONNIE LEE BROTHERTON
(April 27, 1930 - December 11, 2014)

DONNIE LEE BROTHERTON, 84, of Ona, passed away Thursday December 11, 2014, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 27, 1930, a son of the late Tressie Chapman. He was a retired welder at Houdaille Industries. He was preceded by his wife Lila Grose Brotherton, two brothers; Frank Brotherton and Michael Chapman, one son; Doug Brotherton and two brothers in law; Ivan and Elston Grose. He is survived by three sons; Danny Brotherton and fiancée Frances Musser, of Ona, Dean and wife Betsy Brotherton, of Milton, David Brotherton, of Barboursville, one daughter; Donna Flesher, of Duluth, Minnesota, three sisters; Celestine, Emma, Carolyn, six grandchildren; Tom Flesher, Jeremy, Jacob, Josh, Scott, Shane Brotherton, three great grandchildren; Taylor Lussier Flesher, Elle Brotherton and Trent Brotherton. He is also survived by special pet Reba. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014, at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, at 1 p.m. by Pastor Phil Chapman. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. Meorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, maybe made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity of choice.
