Mary Kathryn Kiff Tucker, 81, of Huntington, W.Va. went to her heavenly home Wednesday April 9, 2014 at the Heritage Center, Huntington. She was born February 1st, 1933 at Ona, W.Va. a daughter of the late Francis Owen and Lois Irene Kirtley Kiff. Mary Kathryn, or Aunt Katchie, or Memaw, however she was addressed by the many that loved her, was one of the most loving and caring souls that God created. Her passions in life, or in her words, “God’s purpose for her”, were her piano playing in church and her abundant love for children. Through the years she played for Beverly Hills United Methodist Church Choirs, which she was a lifelong member and Bethesda United Methodist Church Choirs and later the Underwood Senior Center. She loved to play the hand bells as well. She surrounded herself with children all her life by caring for many as the babysitter everyone wanted. Her grandchildren later, became the love and light of her daily life. Most loving and caring Memaw ever!  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Rodney Tucker, her first grandchild Ashley Elizabeth Shobe, a brother William Owen Kiff, and two sisters Helen Marjorie Kiff Harris and Rena Dell Kiff Ferguson. Survivors include a son and daughter in law; David and Debbie Tucker of Dallas, T.X. a daughter and son in law Lydia and John Tudor of Huntington, WV. Six grandchildren Joey Tucker and Michael Tucker; Tyler Tudor, Travis Tudor, Patrick Tudor, Kristin Tudor, other survivors are many very special nieces and nephews, a wonderful and dedicated sister in law Harriet Tucker and her birthday bunch friends.
