Wanda Lene Jackson
(May 4, 1932 - June 7, 2014)



Wanda Lene Jackson, 82, of Huntington, widow of Ford Jackson, passed away Saturday June 7, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor David Mullins. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born May 4, 1932 in Ona, WV, a daughter of the late Homer A. Perry and Mary Frances Merritt Ridenour. Wanda was a retired employee of Coyne Textile Services and a member of the Teamsters Local 302. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Roger Lee Jackson, four brothers Ernest Eugene Perry, Elvie Wetzel, Emery Wallace and Kenneth Hysel; sister Anna Maxine Perry and special sister in law Rhoda Stephenson. Survivors include three sons and a daughter in law Gary and Darlene Jackson, Jimmy Jackson and Tommy Jackson; daughter Joyce Jackson; daughter in law Becky Jackson; eight grandchildren Angela, Steven, Michael, Jennifer, Nancy, Christina, Gary and Alisha; nine great grandchildren Morgan, Nicole, Hunter, Gary, Peyton, Jaxon, Aiden, Leah and Zachary; one yet to be born great great grandchild Riley; brother Robert Denzil Perry; three sisters Lillian Joann Ramsey, Ivory Frances Emmert and Leeta Sullivan; several nieces and nephews including three special nieces Cindy Muncy, Betty Elech-Short and Drenda Marshall and special friends Bea, Ramona, Linda, Fred and Rosemary all of Huntington and her furry companion Smokey. Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
