Norma L. Phillips
(September 9, 1926 - June 24, 2014)



Norma L. Phillips, 87, of Huntington, widow of G. Mack Phillips, passed away Tuesday June 24, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Friday at the Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance, Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, by Pastor Jacque Parlato. Burial will follow. She was born September 9, 1926 in Huntington a daughter of the late Raymond Terry and Nora Marie Kisor Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the Madison Avenue Christian Church. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a son in law David Lyzenga and Kipp Wetherall who was like a second son and son in law to Norma. Survivors include Greg and Shelley Phillips of Stillwater, Oklahoma; daughter Connie Lyzenga of Huntington; three grandchildren Heather Phillips Mundy and Grant Phillips and Christin Phillips; a very special cousin Carl Nichols and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Goetz. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.
