Barbara D. Ragsdale
(October 8, 1931 - November 17, 2014)



Barbara D. Ragsdale, 83, of Huntington, WV, widow of Donald Lee Ragsdale, passed away Monday November 17, 2014 at Huntington Health and Rehab. She was born October 8, 2014 in Huntington, WV. Barbara was a veteran of the US Air Force serving with the WAF during the Korean War era. She was a former assistant Court Clerk for the City of Huntington, a member of the 26th St. Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the Cabell County Volunteer Auxiliary and the Senior Center Craft Club. She was also preceded in death by her mother Martha Hensley; step father William Cramer; maternal grandparents Charles W. Gibbs, Jr. and Inez M. Asbury Gibbs; grandson Tyler Blalock and aunt Ruth Simonette. Survivors include three daughters Pamela Groves, Lisa Roth and Lynn Blalock; grandchildren Jaqueline Qi, Ashdon Groves, Summer Witkop, Brittany Roth and Derek Blalock; great grandchildren Addison Groves and Thomas John Witkop, Jr. and aunt Jeanne Gardner. Friends may call from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. The will be no procession to the cemetery. The Huntington Honor Guard of the American Legion Post 16 of Huntington will conduct military graveside rites.
