Obituary

RUTH KERNS JOBE
(February 16, 2015)



RUTH KERNS JOBE, 83, of Huntington, widow of Robert Jobe, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015, at Heritage Manor. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Carol McKay. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. She was born February 28, 1931, in McDowell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Retus and Ruth Atwell Kerns. She was a hearing assistant with the Social Security Administration and a volunteer at Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center. Ruth was a member of the Lavalette United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Diane Bias. Survivors include her son-in-law George William Bias and grandson David Matthew Bias. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home.
