Claude Maynard Davis, 79, of Huntington passed away on October 26, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Home by Pastor James Webster. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  He was born on August 20, 1936 in Cabell County, WV.  Claude was a 1959 graduate of Huntington East High Scholl, served in the US Marine Corp and retired from Aristech Chemical Corporation. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Spring Valley Country Club. After retirement he took on his second career as a golf marshal at Sugarwood Golf Course.  He is survived by his wife Sue Sellards Davis, daughters: Laura French (Alan) of Barboursville, Carole Sullivan of Catlettsburg, KY., Diane Drake (Danny) of Prichard, WV, Step son: Dwayne Lundy(Amy) of Ashland, KY. Grandchildren: Michael Davis of Morgantown, WV, Jordan Drake of Prichard, WV, Shelly French of Barboursville, WV, Chris Sullivan and Cassidy Sullivan of Catlettsburg, KY., J.D. Lundy of Olympia, WA., Daniel Lundy of Columbus, OH., step grandchildren: Brandon Lundy (Hanna) of Russell, KY., Breanna Delaney (Jacob) of Ashland, KY., Shelby Hendrickson of Ohio, Step Great grandchildren, Brystol Delaney of Ashland, KY., Aubrey Lundy of Russell, KY. He is also survived by his first wife Patricia Hensley Davis.  Claude was preceded in death by his beloved grandson; Scott A. French, also his father and step mother: Earl and Eva Davis and his mother: Ocal Byrd Davis.
