Eris Evelyn Gurschick Mason, 92, of Huntington, WV, passed away, Sunday, October 25, 2015, at her daughter Eris's home surrounded by family . Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Keith Wiebe and Pastor Jerry Warren. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.  Eris was born April 2, 1923, in Rumford, Maine. The daughter of the late Karl Wenzel and Johanna Elizabeth Schott Gurshick. Eris was a mother, teacher, missionary and member of Grace Gospel Church. In addition to her husband (Paul S. Mason) and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son Charles Mason; brothers Karl, Henry and Kenneth Gurshick; sisters Lillian Zimmerman, Anna Laflure, Emma Bailey, Ruth Chase, Lydia Pettingill, Florence Fillinger and her granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Lightner. Survivors include, brother Walter Gurshick and sister Johanna Morrison. Three sons, Eric (Linda),Timothy (Kimberly) and Rodney Mason (Julie); three daughters, Lydia Boekell (Harry), Eris Lightner (Joseph) and Ruth Mulligan (Steve); grandchildren, Jennifer Turnquist, Mindy Haid, Krista O'Brien, Nicole Mbogo, Dawn Smith, Ginger Totten, Paul Boekell, Nathaniel Mason, Summer Fitzhugh, David, Bradley, Marissa, Keithen Mulligan, Kurtis Mason; great grandchildren, Jessica, Jacalyn, Joshua, Quinten, Ashleigh, Ciragh, Brianagh, Thomas, David, Shayla, Drake, Joey Rodriquez, William, Isaiah, Ezra, Abraham, Katherine, Addison, Jonathan, and one great-great grandson; Kyson. The memorials have been established to ABWE missionaries of Papua New Guinea and Gaffey Hospice of Dixon, IL.
