Obituary



Edith Fay Barebo, 91, of Huntington, widow of Edward Leroy Barebo, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Huntington, by Pastor Mark Kloha. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV. She was born September 6, 1924 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Ernie Eugene and Lillie Jones Scarberry. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by twin daughter and son; grandson Stephen Tyler Childers; brothers Larry Scarberry and Clifford Scarberry and son in law Donald Allie. Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law Douglas and Peggy Barebo of Huntington and Ronald Barebo, MD of Huntington; two daughters and a son in law Judy Allie Grambsch and Terry Grambsch of Hamilton, Ohio and Patricia Childers of Barboursville; grandchildren Edward Allie (Aiseha), Janet Allie, Jason Barebo (Amanda), Kelly Childers, Justin Cody Barebo, Ronald Jacob Barebo, Connor Slone Barebo, Jenna Fay Barebo and Stephen Grambsch; eight great grandchildren; one brother Eugene Scarberry of Huntington; two sisters of Gladys Mae Powell of Arlington, VA and Jewel Browning of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home.
