Obituary



Terri Ann Ward, gained her beautiful wings and went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday, October 3, 2015, 4PM-7PM at Reger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Rick Williams and Pastor Greg Page. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. Terri was born July 8, 1959 in Ashland, Ky. , the daughter of the late Jayhue Donahue Williams and Phyllis Charlene Gore, Jenny Williams and the late Phillip Gore. She graduated from Ironton High School and from Huntington Business College where she earned a degree in Business Management. She worked at Spring Valley High School as a secretary, employed by the Wayne County Board of Education. In 2013-2014. Terri was an assistant cheerleading coach for Spring Valley H.S. whom her daughter cheered for. The team accomplished 2013 Regional Champions and 2013 State-Runners-Up. She loved her Spring Valley family dearly. Terri was very family oriented. She loved spending time with her family, hosting family gatherings, cooking for her family, and being a Mimi. Her family was blessed to have had one more family gathering for her daughter’s graduation. Terri’s favorite season was fall, although she enjoyed the beach in the summer time. In addition to her father and step-dad, she was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Bertha Mae Ward and her brother-in-law Rusty Ward. Additional survivors include; husband, Michael Ward, daughter, Taylor Ward, daughter and son-law, Bethany and Jason Hatfield; grandson, Jase Hatfield; father-in-law, Ray C. Ward; sister, Sherri Williams, brother and sister-in-law Scott and Tracey Williams, sisters-in-law; Raenette Ward, Janet Ward and Della Bailey, Uncle, Jack Williams; nieces and nephews: Allison Dickess, Drake Williams, Katie Williams, Nicole Ward, and Jordan, Aaron and Michelle Ward, Shane and TeTe Ward, Brandon and Dana Ward, Aaron and Theresa Moore, Jeremy and Jamie Moore. She is also survived by her cousin, Greg and Claudia Williams, Rick and Lisa Williams, Judy Carey, Jenny Carey, Jody Sands, Mary Beth Carey, and Kim Belcher, Travis, Trevor, Cassidy and Nash. We would like to thank all our family, friends, and community for your prayers, love, and support.
