Susan Darlene Kilgore O誰eal, 54, loving mother, grandmother-to-be, wife, and daughter, and a lifelong resident of Huntington, WV, passed away September 28, 2015 at St. Mary痴 Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born September 14, 1961 in Huntington, she was the daughter of Buddy Irvin Kilgore and the late Virginia Ruth Howerton Kilgore. Susan was a graduate of Vinson High School (1979) and Marshall University with degrees in medical technology and chemistry. She was formerly a medical technologist at the VA Hospital, HIMG, and St. Mary痴 Medical Center. She was an active member of Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church. Susan was married to David Allen O誰eal on July 14, 1984. Susan was an incredibly open and caring person whose family was her entire world. She is survived by her father, her husband, and her children, Kristen Renee O誰eal of Ceredo, WV, Kacie Erin O誰eal of Huntington, Andrew Stephen and Kira Marie (James) O誰eal of Mesa, AZ, Matthew Alexander and Megan Danielle (Watson) O誰eal of Kenova, WV, Adam Thomas O誰eal of Huntington and Emily Katherine O誰eal of Huntington. She is also survived by her sisters Kathy Denise Wood of Barboursville, WV, Lori Ann (Kevin) Miller of Chesapeake, Ohio and Marissa Dawn (Tony) Dea of Westerville, Ohio and a special friend Mary Meadows. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Irvin Kilgore. Visitation will be Thursday October 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church, 1600 Spring Valley Dr., Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday at Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church by Pastor Patrick Elliott. Burial will follow at the Kilgore-Artrip Cemetery on German Ridge Road in Huntington, WV. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
