Obituary



Cecile Mary Beford, 63, of Clover, SC, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday December 19, 2017 at her residence. Cecile was born October 24, 1954 in Worcester, Massachusetts, to the late Gerard Leo and Eunice Mary Phillips Beford. She attended Garinger High School and was a member of Assumption, Holy Name of Jesus, Sacred Heart and All Saints Catholic Church. A great humanitarian, Cecile was passionate about fundraising for first responders, churches and schools. As a true renaissance woman, Cecile loved art, music and fashion. She especially enjoyed individual and portrait photography, which she used as part of her fund raising efforts. She loved creating foods and sharing her creations with family and friends. She considered Roscoe, her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, her best friend. In addition to her parents, Cecile was also preceded in death by a brother Gerard “Jerry” Beford of Charlotte, NC and a sister Giselle Martin. Survivors include three brothers and sisters in law Lee and Donna Beford of Charleston, SC, Lenny and Melissia Beford of St. Augustine, Fla. and Mark and Connie Beford of Huntington, WV. Two sisters and brothers in law also survive Cecile, Deborah and Dale Waller of Brandon, Fla. and Jean and Fred Vinzant of Clover, SC who assisted her during her twenty two month battle with breast cancer. Her many nieces and nephews survive her including a special nephew Lee Beford of Charlotte, NC and her sister in law Bobbie Beford of Charlotte, NC. Cecile’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice Team of Rock Hill, SC. . Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
