CLARICE "GRANNY" DIAL
(November 18, 1915 - February 7, 2015)



CLARICE "GRANNY" DIAL, 99, of Barboursville, passed away February 7, 2015, at Cabell Health Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Richard Sexton. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born November 18, 1915, in Lesage, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary M. Meehling Meadows. She was a retired employee of Barboursville State Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Dial; two sons, Bernard Meadows and Richard Dial; granddaughter Leslie Richardson, son-in-law Baxter Cabell and two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Thelma Cabell and Debbie and Jake Clark of Barboursville; daughter-in-law, Anna Dial of Huntingtown, MD.; grandchildren and their spouses Jeff and Sarah Clark of Barboursville, Kimberly and Jeff Williams of Kitts Hill, Ohio, Brian and Jennifer Clark of Flatwoods, Ky., Angela and Bill Blankenship of Salt Rock, Melissa and Keith Damron of Ona, and Steven and Joann Dial of Huntingtown, Md.; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Carol Rowe and all staff at Cabell Health Care Center for loving care and special attention.
