MADELINE CLARK LAPOOL
(July 20, 1914 - February 1, 2015)



MADELINE CLARK LAPOOL, of Lesage, W.Va., died after a long and blessed life on February 1, 2015. She was born July 20, 1914, to the late M.A. and Georgia Clark. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Lapool; two sisters, Ollice Miller and Garnet Black; two brothers, Noble and Milburn Clark; son-in-law George "Buck" Knight; and great- great-granddaughters, McKenna and Audrey Nowlin. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Ramolee Knight of Lesage, W.Va., and Geri (Jim) Ferguson of Orange, Calif.; three granddaughters, Judy (Virgil) Carter of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Billie (Michael) Simpson of Ona, W.Va., and Michele Ferguson of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Michael Lee (Cristie) Simpson of Milton, W.Va., Tina (John) Simpson-Rister of San Antonio, Texas, Sean (Kelli) Nowlin of Pickerington, Ohio, and Kevin (Ashley) Nowlin of Sandy, Utah; six great- great-grandchildren, Haley Simpson, Logan, Emma and Garrett Nowlin, and Dylan and Gavin Simpson-Rister; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends of Cabell County Healthcare and Hospice for their loving care and support. Services will be held Friday, February 6, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va.
