ORVILLE LEE CHRISTY Jr.
(March 21, 1932 - January 14, 2015)

ORVILLE LEE CHRISTY JR., 82, of Huntington, passed away on January 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1932, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Orville Christy Sr. and Elvira Spurlock Griffith. He was a member of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Korean Conflict.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Christy. He is survived by one son, Michael Lee Christy (Katie Pless); one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Doug Barebo; five grandchildren, Jimmy Porter, Shawn Jeffery, Jason Barebo, Steve Christy, and Kimberly Christy; and several great-grandchildren. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
