CHARLOTTE MARIE LESTER
(June 26, 1934 - January 10, 2015)



CHARLOTTE MARIE LESTER, 80, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Saturday January 10, 2015. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. She was born June 26, 1934, in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Robert E. and Mary Chaney Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Bear" Lester Jr.; sister Wanda Greer and brother Bobby Lee Bell. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Chuck Hager of Ranger, W.Va., Mary and Greg Richie of Front Royal, Va., Earlene Scarberry of South Point, Ohio, and Andrea and Brian Adkins of Ranger, W.Va.; five sisters and one brother; two very special friends, Amy Caldwell and Tina MacIntosh who were like daughters, and Tina's daughter Mykala; eight grandchildren, Brandon Scarberry, Scott Scarberry, Nathan Scarberry, Tarah McCurry, Charles Hager Jr., Brian Hager, Savannah Adkins and Garrett Adkins, and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky., during mom's stay and a special thank you to her home health care nurse Stephanie Barker. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
