RICHARD LEE GWINN
(February 27, 1931 - August 3, 2016)



RICHARD LEE GWINN, 85, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Elder Steve Nida officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born February 27, 1931, in Ashland, a son of the late Frank William Gwinn and Ruth Howell Gwinn. He and his wife owned and operated personal care homes and kept foster children. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Flora "Tootie Bills" Gwinn; three daughters, Teressa (Bill) Adkins of Barboursville, Kelly Gwinn of Lumberton, N.C., and Stephanie (James) Beaver of Crown City, Ohio; one son, Frank David (Debbie) Gwinn of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Mildred Franklin of Lexington, Ky.; a nephew, Russell Franklin of Lexington, Ky.; eleven grandchildren, Rebecca, Robin, Rhonda, Shawn, Robert, Justin, Cortney, Tiffany, Frank David Jr., Cory and Keith; and four great-grandchildren, Violet, Savannah, MacKenzie and Willie. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
