JUSTIN DAVID WILBURN
(March 19, 1981 - January 7, 2016)

JUSTIN DAVID WILBURN, 35, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, at his home. Justin was born March 19, 1981, in Cabell County, WV, the youngest son of the late Jerry Steven Wilburn and Karen Bowen Wilburn of Barboursville. Justin was a 1999 graduate of Cabell Midland High School. After graduation, he attended Marshall University where he studied accounting. Justin's charismatic personality and love for people led him to pursue a career in the hospitality and service industry. He loved working at the Stonewall Jackson Resort in Roanoke, W.Va. Justin loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and had a way with wildlife. His first passion was baseball, and he excelled in the sport. In 1993, Justin was an All-Star on the Barboursville Little League team, which went on to win the state title and placed 4th in the Southern Regional Finals. His passion for baseball was something he, his brother and father shared. Justin was survived by his wife, Arianna Wilburn; son, Emery Zane Wilburn, and stepson, Hunter Elijah Davisson of Roanoke; and daughter, Ella Grace Wilburn of Barboursville. Also surviving is his brother, Shane Steven Wilburn and his wife Kelly Bailey-Wilburn, nephew, Steven Dakota Wilburn, and niece, Cayleigh Hope Wilburn of Salt Rock; stepfather, Jack Jeffrey; stepsister, Tina Schrock of Ashton, W.Va.; and countless friends. He was also preceded in death by his Nana, Dorothy Louise Bowen of Barboursville. All who met him loved him. He is remembered for his charm and wit, his constant smile and his infectious laugh. His greatest joy in life was being a father. May you fly high and find eternal peace. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville.
