WILLIAM "EARL" WINTZ
(October 7, 1937 - January 27, 2017



WILLIAM "EARL" WINTZ, 79, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 27, 2017. He was born October 7, 1937, to Walter Oscar Wintz and Alice Jane Nance Wintz. He worked and retired from ACF and on his farms until his body just wouldn't let him. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Wanda Jean Arthur Wintz. Also preceding him in death were his brothers and sisters, Oscar Jr. Wintz, Pearl Cabell, Betty Blake, JoAnn Dempsey, Shirley Byrd, Jim Wintz and Patty Cremeans. He is survived by his second wife, Mildred Jackson; brothers, Carl Wintz of TX, Jack Wintz of Fla., and baby brother Bob Wintz (Kay) of Ona; children, Jeanna Wintz-Wright (Bernard) of Tenn., Rick Wintz (Patrice) of Lesage, Randy Wintz (Laura) of Ona, Tim Wintz (Donna) of Lesage and Tina Hagley (Steve) of Lesage; grandsons, Ronald Wintz, Jacob Wintz (Laura), Tazwell Wright; granddaughter, Alexandria Hagley; and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews along with his loving church family at Olive Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Gordon Rutherford and Pastor Larry Skidmore. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
