Polly A. Cremeans Clagg
(December 3, 1935 - October 20, 2017)


POLLY A. CREMEANS CLAGG, 81, of Milton, W.Va., the hope will never die and the dream shall live on, departed this world for her heavenly home on Oct. 20, 2017. She was born in Mason County on Dec. 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Selba and Rebecca (Huffman) Cremeans. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Judy and Nancy Cremeans. She was a lifelong member of Fairfield Methodist Church and worked as a Nursing Assistant at Morris Memorial Nursing Home for 33 years. Polly is survived by her husband of 58 years, Elmer G. Clagg; her two daughters, Debra J. (Jeff) Wise, Diane (James) Chapman both of Barboursville; one grandson, Justin D. Chapman (Rhenda), also of Barboursville. She is also survived by two brothers, Charles Cremeans of Glenwood, W.Va., and George Cremeans of Pickerington, Ohio; one sister, Betty Williams (Marion) of Lewisburg, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville with Darrell Quintrell officiating. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.
