Betty Lou Jarrett
(October 11, 1930 - October 3, 2017)



Betty Lou Jarrett, 86, of Barboursville, passed away October 3, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born October 11, 1930 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Elliott and Lakie Mullins Samples. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Jarrett; two children, Robert Alan and Alice Ann Jarrett; brothers and sisters, Juanita, Clayton, and Rosalee Samples. She is survived by her daughter, Gay “Gigi” Ward of Barboursville; one son, Joseph R. (Terri) Jarrett of Milton; two brothers, Mayford Samples of Nitro and Donald Gene Samples of St. Albans, WV; grandchildren, Danielle (Scott) Wilson of Glenwood, WV, Brett Jarrett and his fiancé, Brytton McGuire of Huntington, and Krista (Matthew) McClelland of Charlotte, NC; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jadon, Emmaleigh and Tasha Wilson, and Lily and Isabella McClelland. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
