Huntington went to be with the
Lord Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in the VA Medical Center, Huntington.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2008
at

Beginning
Apostolic
Church,
Huntington with Pastor T.D.
Mills, the Rev. Herbert Reynolds and Bishop N. Mills officiating.
Burial will follow in
White
Chapel
Memorial
Gardens, Barboursville.
He was born March 19, 1915 in Huntington, a son of the late Howard
Poole and Goldie Ferguson Poole Burdette. He was also
preceded in death by a brother, Earl Poole and two sons, Eddie E. Poole and
Scott Calvin Poole. Mr. Poole served in the US Army
during World War II. He also was a member of

Beginnings
Apostolic
Church, a lifetime
member of the VFW Post 1064 and an avid Marshall Sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Reba Jean Reynolds Poole; one
son, Charles R. Poole; one daughter, Sandra P. Maxey, all of Huntington; one
grandson, Mark R. Poole and his wife, Carrie of Columbus, OH; four
granddaughters, Kelly Jordan and her husband, Adam of Columbus, OH,
Christina Kingery of Lesage, Tiffani Bogar and Tara Love, both of
Huntington; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl L. Poole of Chesapeake, OH and 13
great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
Thursday, January 10th at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.
