Cathy Elaine Whitt 63 of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday August 4, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Wesleyan Church, Huntington. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Newman, a brother Michael Newman, and two infant sons. She will be greatly missed by her family, her husband, Alan, her children, Greg Whitt and wife, Phoebe and their step-sons, Chase and Ty and Amy McClatchy and husband, Josh and their children, Wylie and Jack; a sister, Patricia Meadows and her husband, Dave and their children, Laura and John. Cathy was a beautiful example of grace, love, humor and faith. She was devoted to her church and her loving church family.
