BEULAH ROSE WISE, 74, of Huntington, widow of Robert Wise, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House. She was born on October 17, 1938 in Oneida, TN, a daughter of the late Herman and Laura Litton Posey. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lindell Posey. She is survived by her children, Dale, Angie and Jeff (Trena) Wise all of Huntington; three grandchildren, Elijah, Josiah and Caleb Wise; and a host of special friends and church family. Mrs. Wise was a charter member of New Baptist Church in Huntington and ran her own catering business for many years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM at New Baptist Church with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the church. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the New Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
