Deloris "Mae" Midkiff
(March 29, 1929 ~ February 21, 2017)

Deloris “Mae” Midkiff, 87 of Huntington, WV went to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Midland Meadows Senior Living, Ona, WV. Mae was born March 29, 1929, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Kenova, WV.  She is the daughter of the late Rudolph Halley (Rudy) and Bernice Halley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Wilburn Richard Midkiff (Junior), and two brothers, Charles and Shannon Halley of Huntington, WV.  Mae was an Interior Designer for many years in the Huntington area. She is survived by her children, Terry Gene Midkiff and his wife Judy, of Ona, WV; Trena Turley and her husband Paul, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; two granddaughters, Summer Dawn Geer, (Brent), of Ona, WV;  Natalie Brooke Midkiff, of Charlotte, NC; two great grandchildren, William Alan Geer and Ashley Nicole Geer of Ona, WV; and  special friends, Judy and Lebert Lucas of Barboursville, WV. A special thank you to the loving and caring staff at Midland Meadows Senior Living of Ona, WV; and the wonderful staff of Hospice of Huntington. Services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Tim Yates officiating. Funeral will be at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Huntington.
