Janice Sue Campbell Berry
(October 28, 1935 - November 6, 2009)



Janice Sue Campbell Berry, 74 years old went to be with the Lord, Friday November 6, 2009. She was born October 28, 1935 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Bennie Omar and Lillie Mae Martin Campbell. She was a Baptist by faith. Janice was a graduate of Huntington East High School Class of 1953 and a Marshal University Cum Lauda graduate in 1981 with a degree in English and Business. She was the sole owner of Berryhill House and Garden & Craft Center. Janice has been an active member of Beta Sigma Phi, Lambda Master for more than 40 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only sister, Phyllis Ann Campbell; brother, Bennie Louis Campbell; daughter, Stormy Dawn Berry, and son Jeffrey Shawn Berry. Janice is survived by three sons, Robert Lee Berry of Huntington, WV, Steven Kippling Berry and wife Leona of Chesapeake, OH, and Douglas Bert Benjamin Berry of Ironton, OH; ten grandchildren, Colleen, Barley, Kristen, Richard, Nikki, Jason, Shea, Amanda Janice, Adam, and Bennie; six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Peggy Browning Campbell; two nephews, Greg and Vic Campbell, all of Florida; a special friend, Robert "Jenks" Jenkins; her Beta Sigma Phi sisters and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Tuesday November 10, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary with Ernest M. Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of friends and family at the Garden and Craft Center on Norway Avenue after the graveside service. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
