Mary Louise McComas
(July 16, 1944 - November 25, 2009)


Mary Louise McComas, 65, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1944 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Ellis Jackson and Cora Mae Leadford Baer. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Alfred Elba "Red" McComas. She was a member of VFW Post 1064 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Unit 16 Ladies Auxiliary and was an avid Bingo player. Survivors include: two sons, Elvis McComas of Huntington and Andrew Pyles of Chesapeake, OH; a daughter, Betty Jo Turner of Florida; several grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Britni Pyles; a sister, Carol "Bingo" Ray of Chesapeake; six godsons, Chris, Parker, Emery, John, Eric, and Jimmy; and her very good friend, Michelle Youngblood and her sons, of Charleston, WV. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Highland Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call at the cemetery after 9:30 am Wednesday.
