Clara Kathryn De Prie

Clara Kathryn De Prie, 39, a lifetime resident of Huntington, WV, widow of Ronald Neace, died Friday November 6, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born October 13, 1970 in Huntington, a daughter of Mary Frances Porterfield of Huntington, and the late Gerald C. De Prie. Kathryn was a graduate of Huntington High School and attended Collins Career Center, where she was completing the program to be a surgical technician. She had previously worked for both Big Bear and the J.C. Penney Company. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and enjoyed drawing. Additional survivors include two uncles and an aunt; David M. Porterfield of Huntington, and Ralph W. and Joanne Porterfield of Scott Depot, WV. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday November 10, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call one hour prior to service Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
