Dean Fuller
(January 13, 1936 - October 8, 2009)
Clyde Dean Fuller, 73, of Kenova, WV, died Thursday
October 8, 2009 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service
will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday October 13, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary
Huntington by Rev. Jim Franklin & Pastor Andy Connor. Burial will be in
Spring Hill Cemetery. Clyde was born January 13, 1936 in Huntington, WV a
son of the late Doran & Madge Dean Fuller. He was a retired Pharmacist from
Fruth Pharmacy. He was a 1953 graduate of H.E.H.S and also the University of
Cincinnati Pharmacy School in 1958, he was a player/coach at St. Clouds
Commons Stan Musial Industrial Baseball League, Superior Drug Store
Industrial Basketball Team, played in the Jewel City Jazz Band, an avid
Cincinnati Reds fan and a member of the Marshall Big Green Club were he was
an avid Football, Basketball & Baseball fan. In addition to his parents he
was preceded in death by his sister Lynda Fuller Hanewald. Survivors include
his wife Sharon Reed Fuller, one daughter Cindy Fuller Adams & Rick, one son
Dean Fuller all of Huntington, two sisters Doreen Connor & husband David of
Columbus, OH., & Charlotte Farrington of Huntington, three grandchildren
Crissy Adams Dement, Sheena & Taylor Adams and one great-granddaughter
Hannah, an uncle Keith & Jean Dean of Huntington, numerous cousins, nieces &
nephews and the mother of his children Phyllis Stroud Fuller, brother-in-law
& sister-in-law Steve & Debbie Reed of Lutz, FL. Pallbearers will be Larry
Holderby, John Spellacy, Mark George, Scott Ransbottom, Shawn Dixon, Greg
Spencer, Coach Phil Ratliff & Coach Mark Snyder. Honorary Pallbearers will
be Tom Sims, Carl Stinnett, Mike Graybeal, Wayne Windle, Henry Hammond,
Howard Rose, Tim Hensley & Dr. Charles McKown. The family would like to send
a special Thank-you to the nurses, respiratory therapist & the staff of St.
Mary's C.I.C.U. and Cornerstone Hospital for their extraordinary care &
compassion shown to Clyde. Flowers appreciated or donations to Hospice of
Huntington. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 5:00 until 8:00 PM
Monday October 12, 2009.
