Don Allen Harshbarger

Don Allen Harshbarger, 65, of Bonaire, GA, formerly of Milton, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Colquitt Regional Medical Center, Moultrie, GA. He was born November 22, 1944 in Huntington a son of Bessie Setser of Madison, WV and the late Charles Henry Harshbarger. He was a 1963 graduate of Hannan High School, Ashton, WV, a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1964 to 1966, was active in veterans' affairs, and was owner of Don's Produce. In addition to his mother, survivors include: a son, John Henderson of Myrtle Beach, SC; three daughters and a son-in-law, Angela Harshbarger of Maryville, TN, Elizabeth Harshbarger Saunders and Robert Saunders of Huntington, and Kathleen Harshbarger Embry of Winchester, KY; three grandchildren, Nicholas Harshbarger of Huntington and Elijah Embry and Olivia Embry, both of Winchester, KY; and his former wife and mother of his children, Brenda Harshbarger Curry. Military graveside services will be conducted at noon Monday, October 25, 2010, at Milton Cemetery, Milton, WV, by VFW Post 9738. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
