Michael Robert Holley, born July 15, 1951, died Thursday, October 21 at his home in Lavalette, WV. The son of the late Ernest and Helen G. Holley, Mike was predeceased by his siblings Shirley Pruitt, Rita J. Owen, William B. Holley and Ernest Holley, Jr. He leaves behind his son Jason Edwin Holley (and partner Christopher Johnson), his daughter Micah Patricia Holley, his sister Yvonne Ball (and husband David G. Ball), his former wife and Micah's guardian, Priscilla Spence, and many nieces and nephews in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida and West Virginia. A graduate of Huntington East High School, Mike was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mike's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered on the ocean. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
