Edward Roger Stanley, 75, of Ashton, WV, died Thursday October 14, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday October 17, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Max Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Edward was born January 13, 1935 in Proctorville, OH, a son of the late Virgil E. & Dorothy Holroyd Stanley. He was owner & operator of Stanley Brothers Produce & attended Faith Gospel Mission. He was preceded in death by his son Roger Stanley, brothers; Bill, Mack & Arnold Stanley and an infant brother Jimmie, sisters; Lois Stanley, Pearl Rose Wagers, and 2 infant sisters June & Jean. Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Stanley, 2 daughters; Marsha Crawford & husband Donald of Huntington, Jessica Stanley and her fianc' Josh Morrison of Ashton, 1 sister; Ramona Thompson & husband Billy Joe, 1 grandson; Aaron Crawford, 2 great-grandchildren; Kierra & Avonte Crawford all of Huntington, and special friends Pat & Clovis Johnson of Glenwood.
