Dwight David Blower, 56, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012, in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Rev. Jerry Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park. He was born May 2, 1955, in Huntington, a son of Eugene Blower of Huntington and the late Levinia Cremeans Blower. He was a musician. Survivors in addition to his father include: a daughter, Heather Burd ; three sons, Michael Blower, David Blower and Shawn Blower; a sister and brother-in-law, Dianna Lynn and James Mathews of Chesapeake, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald Eugene and Lawassa Blower of Barboursville, WV; two special friends Patty and Wandell Huffman; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service time Thursday.
