Arlene B. Simmons, 89, of Huntington, WV, died Friday May 6, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Monday May 9, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ralph Sager and Pastor Kevin Lance officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Arlene was born October 13, 1926 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Russell and Lillian Worley Bowen. She retired from the former INCO Alloys and was a member of the former Southside United Methodist Church and a current member of the Steele Memorial United Methodist Church. She was an Avon Representative for many years. Survivors include her cousins, Donna (Bill) Minton of Maryland, Jim (Carrie) Bellomy of Michigan, Susan Bellomy of Michigan, Kathleen Follo of Connecticut and Marqurite Jacobs - Rocha of Texas, and two very special friends Jim and Trish Sacconi of Huntington. The family would like to recognize the outstanding and loving staff of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, for their comfort and care during this difficult time. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
