Obituary


Glenna Belle Collins, 74, of Knoxville, TN, widow of Jerald D. Collins, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born October 10, 1942 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Herchel Clyde Dailey and Orangie Marie Frye Dailey Owens. Glenna had two brothers precede her in death, Cledith Dailey and Clarence Dailey. She was a former member of 25th Street Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Tamela "Tammy" Collins and Barbara Lynn Stewart and husband, Bruce Wayne Stewart, all of Knoxville; a son and daughter-in-law, David Michael and Casey Collins of Knoxville; and three grandchildren, Makayla Stewart, Kaitlin Collins, and Zachary Dyer. Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit family 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary with a procession to the cemetery leaving at 2:00 pm.
