Obituary



Thomas Wayne Moore, 62, of Huntington, husband of Lynn Moore, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 21, 1955 in Valdosta, GA. a son of Herman Lee and Ann Boutwell Moore of Oak Ridge, TN. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Viet Nam Era, was retired from the VA Medical Center, Huntington, and was an avid Marshall University fan. In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include, two sons, Jeremy Wayne Moore and Andrew Moore and his wife, Ashlynn Moore, all of Huntington; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Harrison, Brandon Moore, Tyler Workman, and Mya Moore, all of Huntington; two sisters, Lee Ann Eaves of Oak Ridge, TN, and Carol Hosmer and husband, Terry Hosmer of Kingston, TN; a brother, David Moore and wife, Mary Moore of Virginia Beach, VA; his mother-in-law, Mary Alice Hudnall and husband, Paul Hudnall of Milton; and a sister-in-law, Frances Johnson and husband, Marty Johnson of Milton. Graveside services with military rites will be conducted 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Abbey of Devotion, with Dr. Jerry Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit after 11:00 am Tuesday at Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion.
