Obituary


Heidi Marie Ashworth, 76, of Ashton, WV, widow of Jerry Lee Ashworth, died Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born December 8, 1943 in Wurzburg, Germany a daughter of the late Josef and Frieda Seibel Siebenlist. She retired from the St. Mary's Hospital laundry department, and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church, Ashton, WV. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Patrick and husband David Patrick, and Cornelia Helga Brown, both of Lignum, VA; five grandchildren, Rebekkah Hurlock of Lignum, VA, Brandon Akers (Emily) of Mechanicsville, MD., Catherine Brown of Lignum, VA. Tracie Hunt of South Point, OH, and Jason Patrick of South Point, OH; a sister and brother-in-law, Helga and Dieter Welzenbach, of Wurzburg, Germany; a brother and sister-in-law, Karlheinz and Rosalinde Siebenlist, of Leinach, Germany; and nine great grandchildren, Shelby Hurlock, Alex Hurlock, Isabelle Akers, Jackson Akers, Hannah Patrick, Hiedi Smith, C.J. Smith, Kaylee Patrick, and Andrew Patrick. Private Inurnment will occur in Mount Zion Cemetery at a later date.
