Obituary


Jimmy Junior Nance, 82, of Glenwood, WV, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at his residence. He was born September 29, 1937 in Glenwood, WV a son of the late Stanley and Rosie May Shull Nance. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Nance. He was a member of Moores Chapel, Ashton, WV, and was a retired welder for Engines Inc. Survivors include: his wife, Gloria Oldaker Nance; a daughter, Andrea Faith Nance of Glenwood, WV; a brother, Ervan Nance of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; two sisters, Jewell Grose of Lesage, WV and Shirley Chapman of Glenwood; and a grandson, Chad Blain of Glenwood. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Moore's Chapel Cemetery, Ashton, WV, with Pastor Charles Langdon officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
