Daniel Dale Whisenant, 73, of Kenova, WV, husband of Laura B. Whisenant, died Thursday March 26, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Daniel was born October 18, 1946 in Huntington, WV a son of the last Roy and Marie Hicks Whisenant. He worked in the construction industry. He was also preceded in death by one son, James R. Whisenant. Additional survivors includes three children, Shelly M. Lucas and Kimberly D. Duncan both of Huntington and Daniel D. Whisenant II of Mint Hill, NC, one sister Loretta (Self) Vermillion of Columbus, OH, two brothers Stephen Bird of Huntington and Charles Bird of Columbus, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
