Billy Joe Arnold, 81, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday May 28, 2020 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 PM Monday June 1, 2020 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Minister Doug Booton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Tuesday June 2, 2020 at noon. Billy Joe was born January 29, 1939 in Midkiff, WV, a son of the late Vinson and Opal Adkins Arnold. He retired from the maintenance department at Rotary Gardens Apartments and attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Basil and James Arnold and one sister, Donna Marie Spurlock. Survivors include, two daughters, Tammy (Peter) Hipple and Rebecca Phillips (Charles Scarberry) all of Huntington, two sons, Jeffrey (Michelle) Arnold and Timothy Cremeans all of Huntington, two brothers, Chester Arnold of Huntington and Kenneth Paul Arnold, Sr of Michigan, 7 grandchildren, Destiny Gue, Joshua Phillips both of Huntington, Cody Johnson and Travis Johnson both of Ashland, KY, Rebecca Johnson and Scott Phillips both of Huntington, and Brianna Phillips of Florence, SC, 6 great-grandchildren, John Hedrick, Cameron Brown, Bentley Gue, Elizabeth Phillips, Keith Phillips and Greyson Norvell all of Huntington, three nieces, Robin Baker, Carla Spurlock, Kimberly Farley and a special great niece Kayla Baker all of Huntington. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday June 1, 2020 at Chapman's Mortuary. Due to the current situation please honor social distancing.
