Carolyn "Tootie" Shuff, 90, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born April 4, 1930 in Brookville, IN a daughter of the late Harold and Lora Clark Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth James Shuff; a son-in-law, Raymond Stewart; and a grandson, Barry Stewart. She was a graduate of Barboursville High School, where she was a majorette and a cheerleader. Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Danelle G. Stewart of Huntington and Kimberly R. and Jerrold Griffin of Bainbridge, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Scott and Cheryl L. Shuff of Proctorville, OH; four grandchildren, Melissa (Tommy) Berstler of Middletown, PA, Elijah Shuff (Mikaela Rice) of Richmond, VA, Nikki Sherrod of Mount Dora, FL, and Lindsey (Richie) Singer of Proctorville; six great grandchildren, Kaleb Crews, Mallory Sherrod, Mila Berstler, Maddox Berstler, Trey Singer, and Tyson Singer; a special cousin, Yvonne Reba Kincaid of Huntington; a special person that was like a daughter, Tammy Pardue Doss of Huntington; and a host of family and friends who loved her. A Celebration of Life service will take place from noon until 2:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Charles Mays speaking at 1:30 pm.
