Marshall Neil Parsons


Marshall Neil Parsons, 48, of Ona, husband of April Dawn Scarberry Parsons, died Thursday, June 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1973 in West Hamlin, WV a son of the late Carmie and Faye Clay Parsons. Additional family that has preceded him in death were a daughter, Terri Lynn Blake and a two brothers, Dallas Parsons and Albert Parsons. He was a roofer by trade working formerly for Par Roofing. In addition to his wife, April, survivors include his daughter, Shanna Chadwell (Michael) of Lesage; a son, Michael Boling (Sarah) of Glenwood; two brothers, Crag Parsons, and Carmie Henry Parsons (Kathy); five sisters, Drema Parsons Chenault, Charlotte Wilson, Lorie Annie Godard (Ernest Gard), Arleen Ray (Rick), and Glenna Jean Vance (Terry); and ten grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 6:00 PM Monday, June 28, 2021 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Dorin Garrett officiating. Friends may visit after 5:00 PM Monday at Chapman's Mortuary.
