Frieda Irene Jeffers


Frieda Irene Edmonds Jeffers, 85, of Lesage passed away May 8, 2021 in Heritage Center. She was born February 5, 1936 to the late Henry V. and Margaret M. Mount Edmonds. She was also preceded in death by two infant sisters, Lorraine and Laverne, and sister Garnet Edmonds Dailey; four brothers, Arnold Edmonds, James Edmonds, Harvey Edmonds and Jean Chapman. She is survived by three children Kenneth (Jack) and Brenda Edmonds of Milton, Vickey Henry, Donna and Doug Layne all of Lesage; six grandchildren, Amy and Doug Melton of Milton, Lonnie and Rebecca Lester of Glenwood, Timmy and Jessica Lester, Eric Lester and Harland Henry all of Lesage, and Tammy Medina of Tarpon Springs, FL; nine great-grandchildren, Juliana Melton, Ryan and Alex Lester, Cailey, Hailey and Addilyn Lester, Gracyn Henry, and Tyson and Logan Medina; she is also survived by two sisters, Hazel Edmonds Dailey of Glenwood, Patty Edmonds Solie residing in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation; two brothers, Richard Edmonds of Glenwood and Virgil Edmonds of Wayne; along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all of us. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
