Obituary


David Stacy


David Stacy, 68, of Huntington, husband of Cecilia Jane Parker Stacy, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington. He was born January 3, 1953 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Richard Stacy, Sr., and Virginia Adams Stacy. A brother, Richard Stacy, Jr., and a sister, Pat Short also preceded him in death. He was a former chef for Guyan Golf and Country Club. In addition to his wife, Cecilia, survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Scott Preston of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Debra Stacy of Huntington; his sister, Joetta McGlauphin; five grandchildren, Jalen Nash, Mariah Stacy, Malenda Stacy, Tasha Adkins, and Shawn Adkins; and three great grandchildren, River Kai Nash, Lateasa Allen, and Jhace Adkins. Memorial service will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Friends may visit after noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
