Paul Junior Lowe, Jr.


Paul Junior Lowe, Jr., 75, of Huntington, husband of Sondra Joy Ward Lowe, passed away peacefully at his residence, with family by his side on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Doug Johnson and Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites conducted by Huntington Lodge No. 53 AFandAM will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. He was born June 30, 1945 in Huntington a son of the late Paul Junior and Alma Ethel Porter Lowe. Paul was a carpenter by trade and worked as a painter and stenciler at ACF Industries. He was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God, 900 9th Avenue, Huntington and the Huntington Lodge No. 53, AFandAM. In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul J. "Duke" Lowe, III and Tamera Lowe of Chesapeake, OH, and Jerry Alan and Rhonda Lowe of Huntington; a sister, Linda Sue Adkins of Proctorville; a brother-in-law, Paul E. Ward, Jr., and wife Haru Ward of Ona; eight grandchildren, Jerra Dawn Lowe Perdue and husband, Darin Perdue, Amanda Joy Lowe Carroll and husband, Ronnie Carroll, Jessica Leigh Traughber, Jessica Leigh Lowe, Paul David Lowe, IV, Makayla Nicole Lowe Williams and husband , Joseph Williams, Olivia Grace Lowe, and Alisha Danielle Lowe; six great grandchildren, Jada Perdue, Jerry Patrick Perdue, Jetta Perdue, Cason Steele Coleman, Isiah Thompson, Midas Lowe, and Bravery Lowe; five nieces and nephews, Roger Keishu Ward, Roddie Adkins, Edward Adkins, Ella Thomas, and Chiemi McKenna; and seven great nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Chapman's Mortuary.
