Roy Lee Porter, 65, of Apple Grove, WV, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at his residence. Roy was born April 10, 1957 in West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Marion and Mary Thompson Porter. He was Baptist by faith. He was also preceded in death by one brother Marion Porter and one step daughter, Gayleen. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Porter, one daughter, Sheena (Eddie) Lovingood of Valparaiso, IN, one son, Delmas (Terri) Porter of Milton, WV; two stepdaughters, Darcia and Mikell; two sisters, Sharon and Myrtle Porter, three brothers, Michael (Diane) Porter, Thomas (Brenda) Porter and Cecil (Sandra) Porter all of Branchland, WV, five grandchildren, Katie, Haley, Natalie, Kandyce and Dyllon, six step grandchildren, Garrett, Taryn, Maddie, Dustin, Taylor and Jacob: and eight step great grandchildren. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
