Tia Marie Wheeler
(November 23, 1954 - September 21, 2022)

TIA MARIE WHEELER, 67 of Huntington, WV sadly passed away at her home in Virginia Beach, VA on September 21, 2022. Tia was born on November 23, 1954, a daughter of the late Ruby Wheeler and Clarence Harper. She was also preceded in death by a dear great aunt, "Aunt Bet", brother Tommy and sister Joann. She is survived by: her son Larail, daughter-in-law Markiesha and three grandkids: Jalen, Aujshé, and Ryane. Also left to mourn is brother Samuel Wheeler; sisters Audrey Floyd, Ruth Wheeler, Rebecca DeVan, Suzette Sims and sister-in-law Wanetta Wheeler. In-addition, a host of nieces and nephews were beloved by "Aunt Tillie". Tia had many friends and was a well-loved member of both communities she lived in. A dear mother and proud nana, she will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Visitation in Huntington will be held at Chapman's Mortuary on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 12 pm to 1:00 pm, with funeral services at 1:00 pm Tuesday with Pastor Franklin Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery following the service.
