Obituary

Rozena Harris Gravely, 90, of Huntington passed away January 13, 2007 at Hospice House of Huntington. She was born July 7, 1917, a daughter of the late William Thomas Harris and Agusta Smarr Harris. Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday at Young Chapel AME Church with Rev. Angela Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at the church. Rozena was a member of Young Chapel AME Church where she served on the usher board. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Jeffries. She is survived by one son, Malcolm Jeffries (Forestine) of Chicago, IL, one granddaughter, Kimberly Walker, and one great grandson, Troy Walker, five nieces; Jackie Williams of Detroit, MI, Truecella Perry (Clyde), and Rita Cooper (Lowell) both of Huntington, Brenda Harris and Diane Harris both of Racine, WI, one nephew, Harold Hill of Huntington. A host of other friends also survive. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
